USAccess Bank wins "Excellence in E-Commerce" at TechnoVision Awards

December 6, 2000 -- USAccess Bank, a leading Internet-only bank based in Louisville, Kentucky, was named winner of the Excellence in E-Commerce award at Louisville's first annual TechnoVision Awards tonight. USAccess was also a finalist in the Excellence in Industry Achievement - Other Technology category.

Chief Information Officer (CIO) John Proffitt and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Eric Satterly accepted the award on behalf of USAccess Bank and the Information Technology team.

Showcasing leading innovators in technology, the TechnoVision Awards included nominations in a variety of industries and were judged by a distinguished panel of technology industry leaders.

USAccess Bank was nominated in two categories: Excellence in E-Commerce and Excellence in Industry Achievement - Other Technology. USAccess was selected as a finalist in both categories and won the coveted E-Commerce title.

Speaking after the TechnoVision Awards ceremony, CTO Eric Satterly commented, "I think this says a lot about our company's and our team's focus on delivering real business value using technology. Our goal has always been to develop our own technical systems as our eCommerce back-bone; this award is truly an affirmation of our efforts."
